Bonjour,

Appetite to Play is a 3 hour workshop for early childhood providers. We are booking workshops for the spring and summer and would like to see if you are interested in hosting a workshop for your staff. The cost is minimal for Appetite to Play, it’s only $10 per participant which includes a snack and 3 hrs toward professional development credit for ECEs.

This interactive workshop for early childhood providers will enhance knowledge, skills and confidence in creating early years settings (childcare centres, family based childcare, preschool and parent participation programs) that support healthy eating, physical activity, food and physical literacy to promote healthy child development. Early childhood (0-5) is a critical time for setting the stage for lifelong healthy behaviours as we all know.

Appetite to Play not only will share  recommended practices, planning tools, tips and ideas, recipes, games and activities but literally gives you the space as well to practice these skills. Participants not only receive a booklet, but also access to the website  (https://www.appetitetoplay.com/about) which will continue to support them in encouraging healthy eating and increased physical activity in their childcare spaces.
